Symbolic insight is an experimental music label, production company, and recording studio owned and operated by Wesley Davis, aka, bios+a+ic and partner Lia Petteway, aka bahiya.
Symbolic insight studio has recorded, produced, and released over 75 diverse albums since 1998, when it was first founded in Seattle, Washington. Symbolic insight productions has created and hosted numerous live events with hundred of unique acts including, textures ambient showcase, transistor sound art festival, Seattle noise Festival, Dronerama, as well as special events. Symbolic insight relocated to Marshall, North Carolina in 2022 and we are excited to begin a new chapter of creation from our mountain studio based in the Buddha house.
