textures monthly ambient showcase is this weekend, Sunday, November 8, starting at 7 p.m. at the Gypsy House (downstairs), 1279 Marion st. in Capitol Hill, Denver. This months event features the local duo, CyborGanix and will be a treat of droney goodness with Good Mourning & Amadeus Tonguefingers. Drop by for great music, hookahs, coffee, tea, and munchies in the sultan's lounge, always warm & cozy. Next month, December 13, you can come perform at our first ever "open ambient immersive jam". http://myspace.com/textureslive http://symbolicinsight.com/textures

2FK continues each second Friday at Kazmos, 1381 Kalamath st. in Denver. This Months event is Friday, November 13 with the theme of "Human Turntables".
Concept: An experiment in quickly evolving live collaborative electronic music.
What: We take four musicians, eight instruments and 1 mixer/mixologist.
The musicians pair off to create tracks, as if two vinyl records.
The mixologist brings it all together, keeping the music turning over.
Who: Good Mourning & Amadeus Tonguefingers of CyborGanix, Circle Six, Eclectic & tba.
