Greetings! 2014 was a year of new beginnings and continued growth for symbolic insight. We are grateful for all the support and positive interest in our label & projects this past year. Here is a basic summary of our activity in 2014 and we will continue in full stride for 2015.
2014 Album releases
Sci-fi horror by unbridled sonic Anarchy (üsA)
the debut studio album is a fictional film soundtrack created for a movie which exists only in your imagination. the debut album by bios+a+ic and Solypsis, as entropic advance on Component Recordings. Using a vast array of electronic music styles as the base, the duo has created a distinctively original collection of tracks, which flow from ambient space to over driven noise with a smooth deliberate intent. entropic advance - has 2015 shows booked and plans to release their next album, Prism Cell, by the end of the summer.
sonolumina - is currently working on their 2nd album, Intifada (??????? intifa?at) with plans for a 2015 release.
unbridled sonic Anarchy - has their 2nd album in the works, working title, Spukhaus (haunted house) for 2015 release
The KappaCell - bios+a+ic has joined this 5-6 piece project, will continue playing shows, and plans to produce an album this year.
Live production
symbolic insight hosted our first event at 3 Kings Tavern which was a great success. We will be doing more events there, the Walnut Room and other venues around Denver. textures ambient showcase, Denver's only monthly live ambient showcase, has found a new home at Mutiny Information Cafe, 2 S Broadway, Denver, which started in June. Our hosts, bios+a+ic & symbolic insight, are excited to continue textures at Mutiny every LAST SUNDAY of the month for all-ages at 7 pm in 2015.
